INFO: Interface Inagh will be presenting Bearing Witness at IMMA’s Earth Rising festival on September 12-14.
Led by artists Jane Cassidy and Laney Mannion, alongside ecologist Marie Louise Heffernan and curator Alannah Robins, the project centres on the proposed wind farm at Sceirde Rocks, Connemara. The project celebrates the unique richness of Ireland’s marine ecosystems—true jewels of its biodiversity. At the same time, it critically examines the industrialisation of our seas.
We call our friends together for a day of sharing information and collective action, helping us bring this conversation to the national stage, making banners and placards of protest and hope. These will be brought to IMMA by Interface, for use at Earth Rising Festival.
