Open Day with Kay Aplin and Joseph Young on 24th June followed by feedback session

Join us at Interface on Saturday 24th June for an artist talk by resident artists Kay Aplin and Joseph Young, followed by dinner and a brainstorming/feedback session on the future of Interface

Artists Talk: 2-4pm

Kay Aplin and Joseph Young are current artists in residence at Interface, here for the month of June. Their residency is part of their latest project Edges investigating collaborative practice in Ireland, Estonia and the UK

Joseph Young will perform with his custom-designed Sonic Baton conducting field recordings that he has collected during the residency from the surrounding environment.

Kay Aplin will give a presentation about her practice and the development of her project space The Ceramic House in Brighton.

Informal Dinner and Feedback Session: 5pm

We would love to invite audience, artists and members to stay on and have an informal dinner with us after the artist talk on June 24th. We want to continue to grow and develop Interface and a vital part of this is to facilitate feedback sessions from artists. We would like to hear your thoughts on the programme here, what you think is working and what you would like to see more of. We would also like to hear about what you don’t like so much! All are welcome.
