CARRYING THE SONGS
On 31st March, Liam Ó Flaithearta of Inis Mór told a story to his Dad, who told it to his daughter, who told it to another islander…and so on. On Wednesday, after a journey of 34 weeks, through 29 countries and 50 languages, the story has landed in Istanbul. Tomorrow, Saturday 21st November, Maral Perk will be the last of 404 storytellers when she will tell the story to all who will listen.
