We are delighted to announce the opportunity for 2 artists from both Galway County and Galway City to apply for a 2 week residency at Interface.
Proposals are invited from practicing artists, writers, and musicians whose work explores intersections between scientific research, environmental concerns and the arts.
Interface offers artists an opportunity to engage with a unique environment and to be inspired by the exciting research taking place in a spectacular landscape.
These residencies are kindly supported by the Arts Offices of Galway County Council and Galway City Council respectively.
Time of residencies : March, September and October 2026 – Please make sure you are available during these months before applying.

How to apply: Send one pdf including your proposal, CV, artist’s statement and six samples of recent work or links to work to interfaceinagh@gmail.com. Please state in the subject line which residency you are applying for, Galway City or Galway County
What we offer: Access to a studio space, accommodation and stipend of €1,100 for each artist for residency periods of 2 weeks. Artists will be responsible for their own food, materials and travel costs.
Please note: A driver’s license and a car are essential for this residency for which the artist is entirely responsible.
