Annemarie’s work engages with one of the most pressing issues of our time: climate change.
Living on Dublin’s East coast with frequent visits to the West and South West, witnessing shifting
coastlines and habitat loss, she is well positioned to view these changes in the Earth’s rapidly
transforming landscapes.
Through drawing, painting, encaustic beeswax and mixed media, she aims to capture images
in a layered visceral language evoking a deep connection to nature and the delicate balance being
lost.
Her practice is a response to what is vanishing and eco-systems under threat.
Earth is changing before our eyes, and her work seeks to hold a space for reflection and urgency. Share:
