Ann is an artist living and working in the west of Ireland. She completed a Masters in Fine
Art at the Limerick School of Art and Design in 2024.
Her art practice encompasses sound, textiles, performance and photography.
She is currently a PhD candidate with the Limerick School of Art and Design working on
research that dialogues between feminisms and ecologies formulating a third place of
exploration.
My work is concerned with exploring hybrid feminisms and their relationship to a
transcorporal ontology of care. As I mediate my surroundings into the symbolic
shape of the unknown and unknowable drawing on both intuitive and learned
knowledges. Interstitial land masses and bodies of water provide an environment to
think with the other about kinship, entanglement and interconnectedness across all
matter and being.
