Noreen Ramsay is a visual artist based in Co Clare whose primary medium has been ceramics. She has recently become interested in exploring the environment of the woodland close to where she lives and was interested in making a similar exploration of the Sitka Spruce forest adjacent to Interface.
Noreen used her time at Interface exploring the various forested areas – Sitka Spruce and native Oakland – as well as the blanket bog, and She initiated new lines of enquiry playing with scale and layering the macro within the micro – a landscape within the landscape.
