Accommodation

Our artists in residence are provided with accommodation as well as studio space. It is our ambition to build accommodation on-site in the future, but currently we are dependent on a range of rental options in the community, either in Clifden, Letterfrack or Moyard. One of our accommodation options is twenty two kilometres away at Connemara Getaway, a self-contained apartment at High Moyard. The apartment’s living room/kitchen has a solid fuel stove and a kitchen counter with well equipped mini kitchen facilities. There is one bedroom with a double bed and a pull out sofa bed in the living room, a shower, toilet, washing machine and wifi.  We also house groups of artists at Heatherhill in Letterfrack, or in an apartment at Clifden Station House Hotel.  We wish it was otherwise, but the pubic transport in Connemara is limited and the roads are very dangerous. You will need the use of a car in order to travel between any of these accommodation units and the studio.
